Fall 2017 - 30 Reasons Not To Be In A Play
What can I say? This show was unlike anything The GTC has done before. Our cast and crew were a bit befuddled. No sets? No costumes? Is this real life? In fact, our actors played multiple different characters in hilarious skits, all centered around one common theme; don't be in a play. Miss Candiano and Miss Rivera were able to co-direct this year! Mr. Graff and crew made some amazing and colorful rehearsal blocks for us to transform into benches and school desks. Miss Scheidel and the costume crew came in with every costume accessory possible, from chipmunk ears to umbrella hats, we had four prop tables backstage to keep track of it all! Finally, Mrs. Januska & Miss Nelson are our two new faces of the hair and makeup department. They fit right in with our crazy world, and had our students looking like kids, teachers, dads, and little old ladies. This show was a lot of fun to watch come together and we were glad the audience thought so too.
