Thespians - Sophomores
Kayla Bell: Kayla is a sophomore at GHS. She has been in drama since the seventh grade. She has done costumes for several shows. When she is not helping backstage, she participates in, Pantherettes, International club, Best Buddies, booster club, unified sports, and she is the vice president of class council. When not doing these activities, Kayla is an active member at her church helping out. She is so excited for this show and wishes everyone the best of luck!
Jeremiah Fuentes: Jeremiah Fuentes is a sophomore at GHS and is excited to participate in his fifth show with the Griffith Theatre Company and 10th show all together. His first ever show was a production of Annie with the Regional Performing Arts Company. His most recent show was a Summer Musical Program Performance at the Goodman Theater, where he played a supporting role in the cast. Jeremiah’s’ favorite role he’s played is when he played Squidward in SpongeBob The Musical. Outside of drama, he participates in student council, class council, choir, dance, FCCLA, and Academic Super Bowl. He is playing Max (Cecil Haversham/Arthur the Gardener) and hopes you enjoy his performance. He is excited to continue with Griffith Theatre Company for the rest of his high school years.
Nicholas Grahovac: Nicholas Grahovac is a sophomore at Griffith and has been performing in the arts since fourth grade. Beginning with choir, Nicholas has worked his way to where he is now. Nicholas has been a member of the Griffith Theatre Company since his seventh-grade year. His performances include Whodunnit?, Wolf and Its Shadows, Radium Girls, The Brunch Club, Grease, The Diary of Anne Frank, Annie, and this year’s The Play That Goes Wrong. Other activities Nicholas partakes in is football, wrestling, Griffith Youth Baseball, choir, student council, and class council. Nicholas is excited for The Play That Goes Wrong, and this show, he isn’t nervous about anything going wrong!
Emma Kidd: Emma is a sophomore and has been active in the drama department since the beginning of her freshman year. Her first show was The Diary of Anne Frank. She has also acted in Annie and was on sound crew for Charlotte’s Web. She goes on as Annie in The Play That Goes Wrong. Outside of theatre, Emma is active in student council, book club, and SADD. She is very excited and wants to wish the cast and crew a wonderful show weekend!
Lillian Mowers: Lillian is a sophomore at Griffith High School. As of right now she is in GLS. She is very excited to try something new and be part of lights and sound. This is her second year of drama, in the past she worked on: Annie and The Diary of Anne Frank as a set and stage worker. Outside of drama she participates in color guard, crochet club, sophomore class council, art club, Paranormal Society, and girls’ tennis! She is extremely grateful to be part of this amazing show and for everyone to enjoy! Great job to everyone’s deduction and hard work for this play to be possible!
Emoni Neal: Emoni is in the tenth grade, and this is her third year working with the GTC. Prior to working with GTC this year, she was an orphan named, Pepper, in Annie, she worked as a PA for, The Diary of Anne Frank. She’s also worked in and been in previous shows like, Grease, and The Brunch Club. When she’s not working with the GTC, she runs track and sings in choir. In The Play That Goes Wrong, you’ll see her as our beloved Perkins (the maid). She hopes you all enjoy the madness and chaos. She says this play will be most ominoo-nos.
Aiden Nieves: Aiden is a sophomore who has been with the theatre company for two years. He’s done crew for The Diary of Anne Frank and Annie. He’s doing crew for The Play That Goes Wrong and will be acting in Don't Fear the Reaper. He’s also involved in most band activities, cross country, track, and is running for president of band. He loves to work with his hands and to feel the rush of going past his limits.
Janae Nolan: Janae is a sophomore and has been in the Griffith Theatre Company since her seventh-grade year. She has been in many shows, acting or working as properties manager. The shows she’s worked in are The Wolf and Its Shadows, Radium Girls, The Mousetrap, Grease, The Diary of Anne Frank, Charlotte’s Web, The Brunch Club, Annie, and is now acting in the company’s competition play Don’t Fear The Reaper. Outside of theatre, she plays volleyball, takes pictures and writes stories for Panther Press, archery, and sometimes runs on the high school’s track team. She is very excited to work with the cast and crew of The Play That Goes Wrong and hopes they all break a leg!
Rachel Sheline: Rachel Sheline is in tenth grade, and this is her third year working set crew for the company! She has been in last year’s shows, Annie and The Diary of Anne Frank as well as The Brunch Club. She is the co-captain of the Griffith color guard and is also on the tennis team as well as the crochet club. She hopes you enjoy the show!
