Thespians - Seniors
Ailani Baez: Ailani is a senior and this is her fifth year working in the GTC. You may have seen her in shows such as Whodunnit?, Radium Girls, Grease, Annie, and Beauty & the Beast. This time you’ll find her backstage for hair & makeup. When Ailani isn't in theatre, she is busy with friends, chorale, or just spending time with her family. She wishes everyone the best of luck and hopes you enjoy our season!
Nolan Davenport: Nolan is a senior and has been with The Griffith Theatre Company for four years. Nolan has been a part of seven shows in the Griffith Theatre Company acting & working with various crews.
Briana Esquivel: Briana is a senior and this is her sixth production with the Griffith Theatre Company. She can usually be found backstage doing hair and makeup for various drama productions. When she’s not backstage you will see her at on the basketball court or at class counsel, booster club, and paranormal society meetings. She hopes you come check out our season!
Paige Hale: Paige is a senior at Griffith High School, and this is her last season with this theatre company. You might remember her from Beauty and the Beast, where she played Mrs. Potts, or The Play That Goes Wrong, where she played Taylor. Outside of acting, she’s also choir President and a State Thespian Officer for the Indiana thespian chapter. She is incredibly sad to only have one show left with the Griffith Theatre Company, but she gives all her love to the directors and students of the company, who she adores and cherishes.
Sabrina James: Sabrina is a senior in high school who started her time with Griffith Theatre Company in spring of 2022. She is honored to be entrusted with the role as Stage Manager this fall. Sabrina believes working on building sets is not only fun but has taught her essential skills for life. Sabrina has participated in past productions like, The Diary of Anne Frank, Annie, The Play That Goes Wrong, Don’t Fear the Reaper, The Wizard of Oz, Grease and Beauty & the Beast.
Cecilia Mendoza: Cecilia is a senior this year. Her time with the drama department on this production has been an enjoyable time. She would like to thank everyone for being so friendly and welcoming. She has been part of shows in the past such as: The Diary of Anne Frank (crew member), Annie (ensemble and orphan chorus), The Play That Goes Wrong (Cornley Drama Stage Crew) and Beauty and the Beast (Featured Ensemble). Other extra curricular activities include being a member of the Volleyball program and the Girls Soccer program.
Ariel Scieska: Ariel is a senior and very excited to be in this year's fall show. Ariel joined the Griffith Theatre Company her freshman year. She spends her time between hair and makeup and part of various casts as an ensemble and Featured Dancer. She has been one of the company’s Choreography Production Assistants for the past few years. Before joining the Griffith Theatre Company Ariel was a set and stage crew member and assistant/stage director for productions for church. When not on or behind stage, she is Captain of the Color Guard, playing her clarinet, bari-sax, and quads in band, Vice President of National Honors Society, National Technical Honors Society, studio dancing, and teacher’s assistant with a dance classes at her studio. Ariel is very excited about this season and would like to wish all cast and crew the best of luck!
Bella Zielke: Bella is a senior at Griffith High School. She participates in sports like Cross Country, Swimming & Diving, Unified Track, and Unified Bowling. Besides her roles in the company, Isabella is Senior Class President, a member of National Honors Society, Best Buddies, Student Council, FCCLA, Booster Club, Paranormal Society, Academic Bowl, and International Club. She has been involved in the Griffith Theatre Company for three years and has loved every moment! She is honored to be this season’s Costume Manager. She believes that the Theatre Company is a wonderful way to connect and bond with familiar and new people. She is thankful that it has allowed her be even more involved in her school community. She is excited for this season’s shows and she wishes the cast and crew “good luck”!
