Thespians - Seniors
Katie Bilka: Katie is a senior (woah) and has been with the theatre department for seven shows (woah x2). Her first show in middle school was The Anti Play, and she played the role of Barb. Katie is very proud to be working with the drama department during this fall’s High School Drama Night, in which she plays High School Girl in Tracks. When she’s not having fun on stage, she is on the school’s soccer team, and is a member of Paranormal Society, class and student council, NHS, and booster club. Katie wishes that everyone will put on a great performance for our wonderful audience!
Jason Czyz: Jason is a senior and this is his sixth show with The Griffith Theatre Company. His first show was being a part of stage crew of The Music Man. Other shows Jason has been in include The Lion a The Witch and The Wardrobe, Honk!, and I Remember Mama. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, he was never able to be one third of the pigs in Shrek: The Musical. For our upcoming Drama Night, he plays as Wilmuth, the farmer in The War of the Worlds. Outside off the stage, Jason is an avid Descendants fan, plays drums, plays in the school bands and love to see his friends. He wants to thank the guys and everyone else involved for making every show great!
Gabby Fink: This is Gabrielle's third year on stage with the Griffith Theatre Company. She has previously performed in The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe, Honk!, last year’s Middle School Drama Night, and her favorite role was playing Dagmar in I Remember Mama. When she's not on stage, she can be found working backstage in the prop loft, playing french horn with the band, or teeing off with the girl’s golf team.
Elizabeth LaPointe: Elizabeth is a senior and this will be her fourth year in the Drama Department. Her first show was The Music Man as a pit band member. Other shows she has participated in are The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Honk; and Shrek. When not in drama, Elizabeth is playing in the Marching Band and Pep Band, as well as competing on the Academic Math Bowl team.
Harry Pala: Harry is a senior, and has been involved in the Griffith Theatre Company since 8th grade. During his five years in theatre, he has acted, worked the stage, built set pieces, and worked the sound board. He is also involved with choir, band, NHS, and tennis. He hopes to continue his academic career at Indiana University to study political science and become a professor. He hopes you enjoy our upcoming performance of War of the Worlds and Tracks, and reminds all his fellow men to stack ‘em on!
Kyle Rassel: Kyle is a senior at Griffith and has been involved in Griffith theatre since the 8th grade. Kyle has found his passion on the stage and is very excited to perform for you all in our upcoming production. As a huge fan of the Great Orson Welles, Kyle cannot wait to pay homage to the renowned director, and as the Old Man, he cannot wait to have a seat and take a nap or two. Enjoy the show!
Aidan Rivera: Aidan is a senior at GHS. He plays soccer for the school and this is his seventh production. He is so excited for this season and hopes everyone preforms well.
Kayla Serna: Kayla is a senior and has been participating in drama for three years. Her first show was The Music Man and has been involved in every show after. This year she is stage manager. When not in drama she participates in Soccer and NHS.
Aubrey Wallace: Aubrey is a senior and this is her third year being active in the Drama Department. She’s very excited to work with the hair & makeup crew again. She has participated in hair & makeup for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Honk!. When she isn’t attending meetings or rehearsals, Aubrey participates in the Griffith High school Paranormal Society, and goes on spooky trips. She also goes to Ivy Tech.
Grace Wothke: Grace is a senior and this is her 11th show with the GTC! She has done both cast and crew, as well as directing the middle schoolers. In the past she has acted in The Audition (Stage Manager), 30 Reasons Not To Be In A Play (Mandy, Tabitha’s neighbor), The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (Dwarf), Honk! (Queenie, Mother Swan), I Remember Mama (Moorhead), and Shrek: The Musical (Chorus/Duloc Dancer, Wilifred). She has worked crew in MS Drama Night 2018 (hair & makeup), The Music Man (lights & sounds), MS Drama Night 2019 (student director), and MS Drama Night 2020 (student director). Now she will be playing the Lawyer in Tracks! Outside of theatre, Grace serves as captain of color guard, president of Best Buddies, vice president of National Honors Society, editor-in-chief of the yearbook, and also participates in choir! She is so excited for her senior year show and thanks the GTC for being her family and giving her the best high school memories possible!
Vincent Zarndt: Vincent is a BiG G Senior this year and is very excited to be the high school boy in Tracks and the announcer #3 and General Smith in War of The Worlds. Vincent plans to go to college for communications. Some interests he has is singing in the schools choir, which he enjoys very much. He would like to thank everyone for being a part of his high school life in theatre and he’s excited to make his last fall show one of the best! He wishes everyone the best of luck in our upcoming production.
