Thespians - Juniors
Isabella Aranda: Isabella Aranda is a sophomore has been acting in The GTC since The First Annual Middle School Drama Night. When not on stage, she’s in student council, sophomore class council, international club, color guard, and choir. Outside of school she’s the vocalist of upcoming rock band Clouded Vision. She wants to thank her Mom and Dad for always believing in her as well as Derek for being there.
Aseret Baez: Aseret is a sophomore and she’s been involved in the Griffith Theatre Company since she was in 7th grade! You may remember her from last spring’s production, Honk!, where she played the Air Force commander’s second-in-command, Dot. This past fall she played a character that is very different from her last, the role of the bossy Jenny Stenborg, sister to Marta, Sigrid, and Trina in I Remember Mama. Besides being in drama, Aseret is also a part of Student Council, International Club, choir, and color guard.
Connor Carfton: Connor is a red-white-and-blue hearted sophomore, with this being his fourth year with the Griffith Theatre Company. He enjoys long, contemplative walks on the beach. Besides drama, Connor is involved in the sophomore class council, student council, Panther Press, and tennis.
Shannon Gaffney: Shannon is a sophomore at GHS. This will be her fourth play participating in crew. She is super excited to be a part of the fall play: I Remember Mama. In her free time, she likes to read books and watch movies!
Abby Morrison: Abby Morrison is a sophomore at Griffith High school. She started participating in shows around the age of eight and has loved it ever since. Previously, she’s been involved with 14 other shows in Highland, Griffith, and Merrillville. Outside of theatre, she enjoys playing accordion (badly) and being with her dog.
Hayden O'Brien: Yo, my name is Hayden O’Brien, and this is my second year being with the crew department for drama. I helped work on The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe, and Honk!. I wanted to join crew because I love art and I felt I wanted to be a part of something involving that. Being a part of crew is a whole different experience compared to acting, but we share the same amazing feeling of putting together a show. Everyone from drama has been so inviting and fun. Last year was great, but this year will be even better!
Danny Sheffield: I Remember Mama is Danny Sheffield's sixth show with the GTC, and he is more excited than ever to be a part of this cast. He had his start in the first two Middle School shows, moving on to The Music Man, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Honk!. Danny also did sound for the third annual Middle School Night. When not acting, he's blowin' the sax in band, slappin' the bass at home, running from ghosts in Paranormal Society, and serving up the wins on the tennis team.
James Sherbit: James is a sophomore at Griffith High School and has done five shows so far for the Griffith Theatre Company. Past shows include; Honk!, The Lion, The Witch, & the Wardrobe, I Remember Mama, and the 2nd and 3rd Annual Middle School Night shows. When James is not at drama he is with the Griffith's robotics team, Need More Zip-Ties.
