Thespians - Juniors
Ailani Baez: Ailani is a junior, and this is her fourth year working with the GTC. You may have seen her in shows such as Whodunnit?, Radium Girls, Grease, and the musical Annie. This time you’ll find her backstage for hair & makeup. When Ailani isn’t in theatre, she’s busy with friends, chorale, or just spending time with her family. She wishes everyone the best of luck and hopes you enjoy the show!
Nolan Davenport: Nolan Davenport is in 11th grade. He has been in six shows with the GTC. Outside of the theatre, he participates in football, baseball, and is also a member of the Chorale. He wishes the cast best of luck and hopes everyone enjoys the show.
Emily Deyoung: Emily is a junior and has been working with GTC since freshman year. She has helped in H&M for The Mousetrap, Grease, and now Annie. Emily is on the Pantherettes and the volleyball team. She is also an active Booster Club member. Emily is so excited to see everything come together and wants to wish everyone a good performance!
Briana Esquivel: Briana is a junior and this is her fourth show. She will be found backstage doing hair and makeup. When she’s not backstage you will see her at basketball, in Best Buddies, class council, booster club, and paranormal society. She can’t wait to see how the show goes!
Paige Hale: Paige Hale is a junior at Griffith High School. You may have seen her in The Diary of Anne Frank as Mrs. Van Daan and Miss Hannigan in Annie last year, along with many other shows in the past years. When she’s not here, she works, acts as the department’s performance officer, and sings in the high school chorale. She dedicates this show to her late grandmother, Kyra Slack. She wishes that she could be here. She loves this department so so much and hopes that everyone has a wonderful show! Break a leg!
Sabrina James: Sabrina James is a junior who has been in drama since her freshman year. She has been working behind the scenes in set & stage crew with other talented people. She is extremely excited to be participating in The Play That Goes Wrong. Her first show was Grease. Other activities Sabrina participates in are junior class council and Paranormal Society. She is excited to watch this play unfold and wishes everybody good luck.
Cecilia Mendoza: Cecilia Mendoza is in her junior year of high school and is very excited to be working with The Play that Goes Wrong. She is part of the Cornely Drama stage crew. Other shows she had been in cast or crew wise, Annie, she was in the ensemble and orphan chorus, and was on crew for The Dairy of Anne Frank. She is also part of the girls’ soccer team, as well as volleyball. She is very excited to see how this play turns out due to all comedy and fun moments there are, and wishes nothing but the best for the cast, crew, and the show in the final product.
Ariel Scieska: Ariel is a junior and is excited to be a part of this year’s fall show. Ariel joined the GTC freshman year making this her seventh show with us. She usually spends her time on hair and makeup for most shows or as the choreography production assistant. Although, for this show she will be on hair and makeup. Prior to joining the GTC she has been a stage crew member and assistant/stage director for productions for a church. When Ariel is not a part of GTC she is a captain of color guard, playing her clarinet or bari saxophone or the quads. As well as dancing and helping with a dance class. Ariel is very excited about The Play That Goes Wrong and would like to wish all cast and crew best of luck!
Ariel Snyder: Ariel Snyder is a junior and has been active in drama since she was in eighth grade. She’s been in way too many shows to list but has loved being a part of every single one of them. She’s acted and done hair and makeup crew. She’s ecstatic to be in another amazing production this year! When not in drama, Ariel is president of Best Buddies, she does unified bocce ball and bowling, she is in NHS, she does two dance classes and is a choreographer for another, and she sings weekly at her church on the worship team. She’s clearly an overachiever, haha.
